Annual Boules Competition - members enjoying a lovely lunch by the sea.
| Vendange Lunch Following the great success of last year’s event at Château Martin, we had no hesitation in booking the same venue again this year. And what an excellent decision that proved to be! On a beautiful sunny day, nearly 60 members and their guests gathered for a welcoming apéritif, followed by one of the finest lunches we have enjoyed in quite some time. We began with an exceptionally well-presented aubergine platter, followed by beautifully tender lamb, and finished with a delicious peach Melba. Throughout the apéritif and lunch, we were entertained by the wonderful voice and music of Olena. Her performance created such a lively atmosphere that several guests were tempted onto the dance floor, proving that a good lunch and good music are an irresistible combination! Our traditional raffle raised nearly €500. We are extremely grateful to everyone who generously donated prizes, with special thanks to members of the Boules Group for their fantastic support. All in all, it was one of our most enjoyable Vendange lunches in many years. Wonderful food, excellent entertainment, glorious sunshine and, most importantly, delightful company. We very much hope YOU will be joining us for the next one! |
